As part of the above mentioned repair plans Proximate Analysis, specialists of our company EF-TEK completed the following:
they checked, whether or not all the various works included into the repair plans were actually required; they also validated the pricing of these works;
in addition to that, they validated the scopes of such repair works, which were planned for the time until 2035. The respective analysis was carried out based on the following inputs:
available information regarding the current and predicted equipment operating time, as well as the (residual) life expectancy for such equipment;
the results of the official residual equipment assessments made by licensed industrial safety experts;
forecasts made by the CHP plant specialists, as well as opinions of EF-TEK house-internal experts.
Our specialists also checked the prices of the planned overhauls - as part of this effort they validated the prices of the works involved by comparing such prices with those from similar other plants and/or by verifying existing price calculations and estimates.
The official goals of the “Gorodskaya” thermal power station construction project are the following:
to reliably provide energy for prospective investment projects to be implemented by the Polyus PJSC in the Bodaybinsky District of the Irkutsk Region, Russia;
to facilitate further development of the “Srednebotuobinskoe” oil and gas condensate field in the Republic of Sakha/Yakutiya, Russia, which is being developed by the Alrosa-Gas company;
to reliably provide electric power for consumers located in the Republic of Sakha/Yakutiya as well as in the Irkutsk Region of Russia, taking into account the energy consumption growth forecasts till 2025.
As part of the Feasibility Study specialists of our EF-TEK company did the following: they
analyzed the applicable heat and electric energy growth forecasts;
elaborated on various thermal power station construction options;
chose the best suitable station layout;
elaborated on what top manufacturers’ equipment could be used;
created and suggested suitable architectural planning solutions;
made budget as well as social and economic efficiency calculations for the project; defined the required operation conditions for the core equipment of the thermal power station;
issued the power output diagram (power distribution scheme) and the construction schedule outlines;
evaluated the investment performance indicators;
made a comparison between the project’s cost and its potential economic effect;
conducted qualitative and quantitative risk assessments.
In July 2019 our company EF-TEK completed a public techs and prices audit for the investment project entitled “220 KV indoor switchgear equipment upgrade, with its optional replacement with a gas-insulated kiosk substation”. In May 2019 our company EF-TEK completed the Basic Engineering and Feasibility Study which were required in order to determine the optimal electric power distribution plan (scheme) for the grids operated by the regional department “Balakovo” of the the Apatit Co. (the town of Balakovo is located in the Saratov region of Russia). As part of our work scope, we did the following:
elaborated on whether or not it was feasible to use a back-pressure turbine as opposed to a condensing turbine with industrial grade steam bleeding. This part of the job also included performing all the calculations needed to substantiate our opinion;
elaborated on which power distribution option would be the best one for Apatit-owned grids (also taking the power output diagram into consideration);
performed short current calculations based on the new power supply diagram;
performed network calculations for the new power supply system configuration;
performed the required calculations in order to determine, whether or not a new house transformer substation would be required to support the currently existing house auxiliaries power supply system;
performed the steam balance calculations for the whole enterprise, in order to determine the correct type and size of the new turbine and generator to be installed;
defined locations and proposed layout arrangements for the new equipment to be installed;
defined the optimal routes for the new power cables to be installed as part of the required Apatit Co. power system upgrade; when defining those routes, existing and already planned cable lines-related structures were taken into account.
